An experience on the sea where you play as a sailor embarking on an epic adventure with your captain inside the CAVE Room
This interactive experience is designed to create an immersive story about an epic journey on the sea, with captain Flemming(white shirt character) The guest/player is a new recruit sailor. There are improv actors on the stage designed to enhance the experience.

My role in the team was 3D artist, story design, and improv actor.
This team project was from the BVW course, our immersive course, round 4 which was about stories. We picked CAVE as our platform, a very physical platform to work with, it consists of three projector screens and a platform that could be controlled through code. 
After having actually stood on and seen what it can do, I suggested one of the ideas was we make an experience about sailing since the platform can mimic the tilting feeling of ships on the water. Then we built upon that and designed a story about a pirate captain and his crew.
For the art design, I used Maya and Zbrush to create the model. Then used Substance Painter for the texture. I added bones for the sea monster's tentacle so that we can make them wave in the sea.

For the sea monster's tentacles, I made a "tube" section for the tentacle and then created a brush using Zbrush's InsertMesh.
